TIRANA – President Bajram Begaj received on Tuesday in a hearing meeting the students of the University of Medicine of Tirana and listened to their concerns and suggestions regarding the law “On the special treatment of students who follow the integrated study program of the second cycle “General Medicine” in public institutions of higher education”.
This law was approved by the Parliament on July 21, 2023 with the votes of the Socialist majority and is currently in the final phase, which ends with its approval by the relevant decree by the President.
Begaj said that consultations with interested parties during the legislative process are a valuable instrument for institutional decision-making.
The President assured the student representatives at the end of the meeting that he will seriously consider all the arguments presented by them, as well as the arguments related by law before acting according to the competence and constitutional procedure./argumentum.al
