TIRANA, July 27 – The State Police in cooperation with SPAK have completed a complex operation to hit organized crime throughout Thursday night.
Exponents of organized crime, officials of the State Police, as well as prosecutors implicated in crime have fallen into the net of this cooperation.
Interior Minister Taulant Balla declared on Thursday that this significant operation is a clear reflection of the will of law enforcement agencies to hit crime in its entire spectrum and to bring the legal order in Albania to another level.
He congratulated the leaders and participants of the police forces in this operation for their high professionalism and above all for the complete security of sensitive information until the operation was finalized.
Also, the minister expressed full confidence that the strengthening of cooperation between law enforcement agencies and the joint fight for the cleansing of the centers of crime including that within the state itself, will take Albania to another level of the rule of law.
Balla congratulated the State Police for the three operations in the last 48 hours.
The police have also hit a criminal group in the field of computer fraud of European citizens through the “call-center” as well as a criminal group in the field of fraudulent schemes and fiscal evasion. /argumentum.al
