TIRANA, July 29 – Prime Minister Edi Rama declared regarding the dismissal of Damian Gjiknuri from the post of General Secretary of the Socialist Party (SP) that “movements in the SP are made to improve the work “.
In a statement to the media from Tepelena on Saturday, Rama said that “we made our relationship with justice very clear and I made it very clear at the last meeting of the assembly – the movement of the entire secretariat has nothing to do with what has been speculated about Damian.”
Rama said Gjiknuri has done his job and the results have spoken well for SP. “I’ve always believed that before others put you in a position to figure out what you need to do to be above others, you have to do it yourself.”
The PM said the relationship with the justice of SP, of this government is very clear and completely divided. “The moves are made only for the reasons of the need to improve the (party) work,” said Rama. /argumentum.al
