TIRANA, August 10 – The Agency for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets (AAPSK) in the Ministry of the Interior has taken over the properties owned by the company “Integrated Energy BV SPV”.
The State Administrator of the Agency for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets, Arjan Baçi said in a press conference at the waste treatment plant in Tirana on Thursday “there is a decision of the Court Against Organized Crime and Corruption, which has made a preventive seizure of the company, which manages the waste in the Sharra landfill, the company is “Integrated Energy BV SPV”.
According to him, the Court has decided that the management of this Company will be taken over by AAPSK according to a decision of the office of the Seized and Confiscated Assets Administration Agency. “I have been chosen as the administrator.”
“The work is continuing normally. All the contracts that have been signed are being followed and all the arrears that different companies have to this company are being looked at in order to make it possible to continue the progress and treat the urban waste of the district of Tirana,” he said.
“A problem we saw is that the municipalities of the district of Tirana are still debtors to this company. The non-implementation of the contract would bring chaos in the management of all urban waste in the region of Tirana,” he said. /argumntum.al
