TIRANA, August 10 – The Court of Appeals has upheld the seizure of former minister Arben’s properties
Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, who is on the run, requested the return of his properties seized by SPAK through his lawyer Ardian Visha.
But the Court left in force the decision of the first instance court for the sequestration of the property of the former deputy prime minister Arben Ahmetaj, who is declared internationally wanted.
Ahmetaj’s appeal requested the return of the apartment in the area of Shallvare (Tirana neighborhood) that was seized by SPAK within the framework of the investigations the latter is conducting for 3 criminal offenses against the former PM.
A few weeks ago, 6 properties, 4 apartments and 2 bank accounts in the amount of 124,300 euros were seized from Ahmetaj according to a court decision and request of SPAK.
