TIRANA, August 17 – The Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj, said on Thursday that the economy is continuing its positive performance, as she pointed out that the income for the 7-month period was 44 billion ALL higher than in the same period of 2022. “The positive progress of the economy continues. The total income for the 7-month of 2023 was realized in the amount of 372 billion ALL or 103% of the plan of the same period. Compared to the period January – July of a year ago, the income increased by 44 billion ALL or 13.6% more”, announced the minister.
Meanwhile, general public expenses reached about 326.5 billion ALL for the 7th month of 2023 with a 91% realization of the plan for the same period of the last year. Compared to 2022, the general public expenses are 4.6% higher or about 14.2 billion ALL more.
The surplus level resulted in about ALL 45.46 billion for the 7-month period of 2023. /argumentum.al
