TIRANA, September 2 – Former president of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi who is in prison in the Hague, has arrived in his hometown in Buroje because of his father’s health condition.
According to Gazeta Express on Saturday, Thaçi’s request for a visit was approved by the Special Court. The visit was allowed by the Special Court “for compelling humanitarian reasons”.
Hashim Thaçi’s father has been in the hospital for ten days.
According to some photographs posted on social networks on Saturday, a significant number of European Union police forces could be seen outside the house of former president Thaçi, in Buroje.
This is the second time that Thaçi goes to his family because of the health condition of his parents. /argumentum.al
