TIRANA, September 6 – “The Berlin process is coming to the region for the first time. More precisely the next high-level meeting will take place in Tirana on October 16,” announced the German Embassy in Tirana on Wednesday.
The purpose of the Berlin Process is to deepen regional integration and lead the countries of the Western Balkans towards the European Union. This includes infrastructure development, economy, regional youth exchange, reconciliation and science.
Through the creation of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), young people learn more about neighboring countries and realize that they have more in common than differences.
Even the signing of the roaming agreement is a success of the Berlin Process.
These are just two results, from which countries benefit significantly and which prepare the region for EU membership.
Other benefits are: better employment opportunities, creating an integrated and competitive market, unlimited travel, study and employment in Western Balkan countries. /argumentum.al
