TIRANA, September 14 – The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, has unveiled the details of the conclusion of the Ministerial of the Ministers of the Interior of the EU and the Region held in Tirana on Thursday in the framework of the Berlin Process with the participation of 26 high-level delegations.
During the joint press conference with Johannes Luchner, Deputy General Director of DG Home, Balla said that Albania has reconfirmed its determination in the fight against organized crime, which not only affects Albania, but also the EU countries.
Balla underlined that it was proposed during the meeting to create joint forces to fight specific aspects of criminality. “At the end of this meeting, we made a call for stronger international cooperation in the fight against organized crime under the principle ‘Follow the Money’,” he said.
In the meantime, Balla announced that the next Interpol conference in 2024 will take place in Tirana. /argumentum.al
