TIRANA, September 17 – As Prime Minister Edi Rama announced a few days ago, the Population and Housing Census in Albania starts on Monday.
In this regard, the Muslim Community of Albania (KMSH) has released a statement, which asks citizens to declare their religious affiliation.
It said that religious affiliation is included in this census and KMSH requests that all citizens, practitioners or not, declare their religious affiliation.
“Although this part has been left “voluntary declaration”, the Muslim Community of Albania kindly calls on all believers, whether practicing or not, to declare their religious affiliation by answering the question, ‘what is the religion or belief that you follow or belong’, write: “Muslim”, said the statement of KMSH released on Sunday.
