TIRANA, September 18 – Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti accused the EU emissary for the dialogue Miroslav Lajçak, saying that he had coordination and synchronization of positions with Serbia in the September 14 meeting in Brussels.
Kurti was quoted by local media on Monday saying that he had presented his proposal for the implementation of the agreement at the meeting, while he said that Vucic and Lajcak reacted “with the same opinion”, ignoring him. “At the trilateral meeting, I was exposed in front of a situation according to which Mr. Lajçak seemed to have designed long ago”.
He said he had notified all the main world centers on the deformation of the process by Lajçak. “So I sent a letter to Chancellor Scholz, President Macron, Prime Minister Meloni and Secretary Blinken. Here we are dealing with an emissary who has distorted the process, not focusing on the full implementation of the basic agreement, but allowing the cart to be put before the horse, which the Association sees time and time again. And this deformation of the implementation process is accompanied by a fundamental injustice.”
Regarding the imposed sanctions, he said that Kosovo has done enough for them to be removed by the EU. While the new elections in Kosovo, according to him, do not suit anyone.
The September 14 meeting in Brussels was unsuccessful for the implementation of the Ohrid annex agreement. /argumentum.al
