TIRANA, September 23 – The partial elections for the mayor of Kukës will be held on Sunday and the Kukës Local Police Department has taken some measures for the normal election process.
Deputy Director for Public Order and Security, Kujtim Gjoka said in a press statement on Saturday, “All police personnel engaged on duties during the election process are trained for the tasks that the State Police has and performs during the election process. The list of police officers who will be engaged in the election process has been approved by the CEC.”
According to him, 99 police officers are engaged in this election process and they will provide the election materials in the 74 voting centers and in the vote counting station near KEZAZ no. 11 Kukës.
“78 other police officers have been engaged to guarantee public order and peace, in the continuation of the services performed by the State Police every day,” Gjoka said. /argumentum.al
