TIRANA, September 26 – Chinese Culture Week starts in Tirana, in the second season of this activity, an initiative of the Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Embassy of China in Albania.
In the announcement given by the Chinese Embassy quoted by CRI (Albanian service) on Tuesday, this week will be full of activities where the experience of Chinese folk culture and Chinese cultural heritage will be demonstrated.
The food festival will not be missing in the program of this event, where the attendees will be able to try different Chinese dishes.
The exhibition “Hello, Beijing” has been opened, with scenic photographs of the Chinese capital in the premises of the National History Museum. There will also be a display of China’s intangible culture, which will include martial arts traditions and the celebration of Chinese folk traditions.
This week’s agenda includes the concert of the Chinese pianist Xinyi Guo, who will perform at the National Theater of Opera and Ballet.
The seven days of Chinese culture will be filled with folklore, culinary, circus, photo exhibition, concerts and parties in the square and will conclude on October 1, which also coincides with China’s National Day. International Cultural Weeks is an initiative of the Ministry of Culture, which brings the sounds, images, smells and tastes of different countries of the world.
Thanks to the dynamic and comprehensive program, the International Cultural Weeks will create an extraordinary atmosphere and spread strong messages of peace and mutual acceptance. /argumentum.al
