TIRANA, October 3 – Deputies of the Reestablishment of the Democratic Party (DP) and the group of deputies of Gazment Bardhi held on Tuesday the fourth meeting during which there were discussions on the latest legal changes in the next plenary session, as well as issues on the agenda of parliament.
In a communication to journalists after the meeting, the chairman of the DP Reestablishment Group, Sali Berisha, said that, “Prime Minister Edi Rama is preparing the most serious assassination in the 32-year history of pluralism as he wants to name the opposition its representative.”
“Other issues of the agenda were also discussed at the meeting. They agreed on all stances and I can tell you that it was a very fruitful meeting,” he said.
Also, Berisha said that, “The resolution submitted with the motion for Kosovo has been removed from the agenda of the parliament by order of Edi Rama.”
Asked why the opposition should continue to stay in the parliament, Berisha said that, “I am not in favor of boycotting the parliament as it should continue the all-out battle.”
While the head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, was asked about his replacement in parliament by the head of the DP, Lulzim Basha.
Bardhi said that there is a clear regulation of the parliament and as long as there are written rules they must be implemented. /argumentum.al
