TIRANA, October 19 – Students of the Faculty of Medicine have submitted to the Constitutional Court a lawsuit where they request the repeal of the law which creates ease for those students who sign an agreement to work up to five years after completing their studies in Albania. Meanwhile, for those students who do not sign this contract, the academic year will cost more.
After almost three weeks of protests, the medical students, supported by a part of the opposition MPs, filed a lawsuit on Thursday in the Constitutional Court demanding the repeal of the law approved in July by the Parliament at the proposal of the government.
MP Gazment Bardhi announced on Wednesday that 30 MPs had signed the request addressed to the Constitutional Court for the repeal of the law in question. /argumentum.al
