TIRANA, October 20 – Prime Minister Edi Rama has declared that the Franco-German plan is the best thing that can happen to Kosovo now, while he emphasized that the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, is personally involved in this plan.
In a television interview on a local TV on Thursday evening, Rama was asked about the statement of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, on the issue of visa liberalization for Kosovo during his visit to Tirana at the beginning of this week.
“He touched upon the issue of the situation in the dialogue process like everyone else, but even more than others, as he is hurt by the fact that even though he is personally engaged in putting a plan on the table that is the best thing that can happen to Kosovo at this stage of its history he told me: “I am not ready to give way, if those in Pristina will not give way for the agreement on the Franco-German plan,” said Rama.
The Prime Minister advised that President Macron’s statements be well read by Kosovo as he spoke about the next few weeks, which are weeks of opportunity.
“It was disturbing that even public figures and fake profiles, instigated by public figures, launched an attack on him and on me as if I have all the power to tell the French President he will do this or that,” said Rama . /argumentum.al
