TIRANA, October 28 – The special court of first instance against corruption and organized crime (GJKKO) has not changed the security measure for the former director of the Durrës Cadastre, Rajmonda Dashi, who was part of a structured criminal group.
According to court reports on Saturday, GJKKO has ruled that the measure of “house arrest” for the former official should not be changed. She is accused by SPAK of having helped a criminal group to invest in real estate in Albania with the money earned from crime.
Dashi used to launder money on behalf of two brothers with the initials B.R and L.R., who have been convicted in Belgium for drug trafficking. Meanwhile, SPAK seized after investigations, 16 apartments in Tirana and Fier, 3 garages in Tirana, 27 bank accounts, as well as 2 vehicles.
These assets belonged to the criminal group operating in Tirana, and the former director of the Durrës Cadastre was a member of the group. /argumentum.al
