TIRANA, September 3 – The only condition Once again the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha conveyed to his political opponent PM Edi Rama the warning that the fulfillment of the requirements for normal activity of the opposition according to the rules in the Parliament is the only condition to return to normality.
‘‘Anyone should forget that we have a project for the boycott of the Parliament. Fulfill the requirements and activity in the Parliament proceeds according to the rules,” said Berisha in the weekly press conference on Friday.
He described Thursday’s developments inside and outside the Assembly as indisputable proof of the narco-dictatorship established in Albania. “Edi Rama and his Linda in the Parliament had brought armed people into the Parliament hall in absolute violation of the laws. This is the ugly police face of the narco-state.”
In order to show that the SPAK has been put at the service of the Prime Minister, he brought as evidence the decision of the Supreme Court after the lawsuit filed by the Democrats against the deputies, Pjerin Ndreu and Arben Ndoka, who on July 10, 2014 exerted violence against the deputy, Gent Strazimiri.
Berisha said he does not withdraw any charges against SPAK, although the latter said that it had started a process for Edi Rama regarding the “McGonigal” case.
“They are capable, as the political process proved to me, to hide documents, falsify realities, to protect Edi Rama,” said Berisha.
He warned the Prime Minister that he will respond harshly for what he considers a political process started against him and Jamarbër Malltezi. “I will respond to a political process with a political trial,” said the DP head. /argumentum.al
