TIRANA, November 15 – Prime Minister Edi Rama has said that with the acceptance of the draft for the Association, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has taken a delayed but appropriate step.
PM Rama said that it is important for Kosovo to advance the process towards the final agreement on a talk show on Tuesday evening.
“(Kosovo PM Albin Kurti) Albin has taken a delayed but correct step. But more important than the delay is the fact that he took the right step. I congratulated him from the first moment. It is important for Kosovo to be active, to be the one that advances the process towards the final agreement, because it is the big winner of this agreement,” said Rama.
According to him, the issue has its cost, but the question is why you should take the cost for something that is first in your hand.
“You become prime minister when you become and not when you are elected,” said Rama in a hint of criticism of Albin Kurti.
“What Albin has done by accepting that draft is a sign that Albin is becoming prime minister,” said Rama. /argumentum.al
