In the new Government of North Macedonia, the Albanians will lead with six ministers and the Speaker of the Assembly, Arben Taravari from the VLEN coalition announced exclusively for “RTK”.
“I believe that one of the three main functions of the state, namely the speaker of the parliament will continue to be Albanian and a significant number of ministers, especially where we have experts, we as the VLEN party will appoint them. I believe that the representation there it will be dignified, with professional people”, he said.
Taravari said that the constitution of the Assembly will take place at the end of this month, while the new Government is expected to be voted in the first part of June.
“The constitution of the Assembly is planned to take place sometime at the end of this month, the month of May, and in the meantime, at the end of next week, we will also have the personnel elections and the government program. After the Parliament is constituted, the president of the state must gives the mandate to the next representative.
In the first half of June, we will certainly have the new Government”, he said.
The coalition partners, according to Taravari, have agreed that the priority of the new Government is the path to the European Union, the uncompromising fight against crime and corruption and the functioning of the rule of law.
