The President of the Freedom Party, Mr. Ilir Meta, traveled today to Germany where he met in the Bundestag with the Chairman of the parliamentary group of the Christian-Social Union (CSU), Mr. Alexander Dobrindt.
“I had the pleasure of familiarizing him with the 5 Priorities of the Freedom Party to stop the depopulation of the country and to accelerate European integration”, said Meta in a post on social networks.
Meta said that in this meeting he emphasized the necessity of strengthening the stricter monitoring of democratic reforms and standards, of elections, of the rights of the opposition, of respecting human and minority rights, of media freedom, and guaranteeing accountability in every level.
It is necessary to focus on the “Berlin Process” for the European future of the countries of the region, said Meta.
Once again, he spoke about the depopulation of Albania, saying that the demographic change in the composition of the population today in our countries is a danger for the European Union in the future.

I emphasized the necessity of strengthening the stricter monitoring of democratic reforms and standards, elections, opposition rights, respect for human and minority rights, media freedom and guaranteeing accountability at every level. Only the fight against corruption, organized crime and money laundering, as well as an independent judiciary will bring more and investments to Albania. It is necessary to focus on “Berlin Process” for the European future of the countries of the region.
The depopulation of Albania and the demographic change in the composition of the population today in our countries is a danger for the European Union in the future. Therefore, investing in human capital and young people is crucial to stop this phenomenon!
