Implementing the exit plan Prime Minister Edi Rama announced in a FB post on Monday that a second group of businesses will be opened by next week after they get the certification from the e-Albania portal.
“All the retail businesses are included in the second group. This list will bring back to work over 27,000 people,” said Rama. Being more specific he said that retail businesses of clothes, textiles, shoes, furniture, domestic utensils, tapestry, toys etc. will be opened.
The PM revealed that even taxis will restart work by next week. According to the set rules, only a passenger will be allowed to travel in a taxi.
In the meantime Rama announced that an Anti-Covid Task Force will be set up tasked to monitor the application of the health security protocols. He said that businesses considered of high risk because of COVID-19, which belong to the so called ‘red protocol’, will be monitored by health employees, who will be placed to monitor directly the measures and avoid abuses by owners and workers of different businesses. /argumentum.al
