TIRANA – A four-stage reopening strategy for the population and essential services was unveiled by health minister Ogerta Manastirliu on Sunday which details the measures adopted by the technical committee of experts.
“This strategy envisages four phases for the gradual easing of measures, which are closely related to the evolution of COVID-19 infection and the extent of its spread,” said Manastirliu. .
Starting from Monday, as the minister announced, the timeframe of movement for citizens will be prolonged from 90 minutes to 2 hours, maintaining the security parameters of social distancing and expanding the possibility of performing essential services in a more timely space.
The list of the services that will be opened includes clothing, textile, footwear and leather goods stores, furniture stores, lighting equipment and household items, flower shops, plants and animal shops. Also it is envisaged the restart of the operation of taxi service, electronics stores, children’s toys shops, sports equipment, and telecommunication equipment.
“These businesses are allowed to exercise their activity from 05: 00-17: 30 only by completing and implementing the approved protocols, ensuring the obligatory hygienic and sanitary conditions and respecting the physical distance, to ensure the safety of citizens and employees,” declared Manastirliu./argumentum.al
