Assessing the situation and the progress of on the spread of Covid-19 in Albania, Muslim Community of Albania announced that the Eid prayer this year will be celebrated at mosques according to previously published measures and protocols.
“Eid is a day of hope, joy and solidarity, it is the day of manifestation of the values and virtues that Ramadan has reawakened in man, it is the day of giving thanks and the day of love. We experienced this month differently from other Ramadans because we were deprived of joint prayers, and celebrations with loved ones,” the Muslim Community’s Chairman, Spahiu.
In addition he cautioned that everybody’s attention should be focused on families, children, parents, the elderly, the sick and the needy.

The head of government also accused the opposition of encouraging the Muslim community to join their imaginary revolution for Eid al-Fitr.
“After sacrificing their lives in defense of the old building of the National Theater, they have been revived as ardent followers of the Prophet to encourage the Muslim community to join their Imaginary Revolution for Eid,” Rama ridiculed the opposition. However, he pledged that worship places will open under all the relevant restrictions starting from tomorrow.
In conclusion the PM wished a happy Eid to the Muslim believers saying the opening of the worship places will be a good omen for peace and goodness for all communities and Albania itself and the Albanians in this difficult time. /argumentum.al
