The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump has sent a letter to the Prime Minister Edi Rama, who made it public on social networks wishing ‘good morning’ to Albanians on Friday.
Through his letter, Trump thanks Rama for Albania’s leadership in the Balkan region and across Europe, for his stance on China’s exposure of influence, support for secure telecommunications networks, and Albania’s strong role in the Three Seas Initiative.
But Trump also recalls the Kosovo-Serbia agreement for which he invites Albania to join the US in moving Albanian embassy to Jerusalem.
In the meantime Ambassador Yuri Kim announced on Twitter on Friday morning that she had delivered Trump’s letter to PM Edi Rama. Below full text of Kim’s post:
“I had the honor to deliver to PM Edi Rama a letter from President DonaldTrump thanking Albanian leadership in the Balkans & Europe; rejecting China’s abusive practices; & supporting economic normalization between Serbia & Kosovo as well as the Abraham Agreement. 🇺🇸 🇦🇱 💪 #KrahPerKrah”/ argumentum.al
