Five AKBN Officials Arrested, Some Others Declared Wanted
The Tirana Prosecutor’s Office has ordered the arrest of several officials of the National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN), BalkanWeb reported on Tuesday.
According to the report carried by other local media outlets, 5 people have been arrested so far, while another has been placed under house arrest.
Meanwhile, some others have been declared wanted.
The detainees are charged with offenses related to fraud with serious consequences, smuggling of excise goods, concealment of income and abuse of office. /argumentum.al
