The Special Anti-Corruption Structure (SPAK) has been asked by the chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha why its prosecutors have not started the investigation against PM Edi Rama, Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj and Minister of Reconstruction Arben Ahmetaj on the contracts of the incinerators.
A press statement released by Basha on Saturday called on SPAK to probe into the three highest authorities of the SP- led government as that institution had the evidence on the contracts of the incinerators’deal filed by DP.
“SPAK has lawsuits on the table since 3 months and it keeps silent becoming an alibi for the continuation of the theft,” said the DP head who put the following question publicly: “Why don’t you start an investigation against Rama, Veliaj and Ahmetaj? What bothers you?” /argumentum.al
