The Austrian Chancellor, Sebastian Kurz held a videoconference with Albania’s Prime Minister and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Edi Rama on Monday.
He confirmed the conversation saying on Twitter that they discussed the joint fight against terrorism and extremism, the COVID19 pandemic and Austrian support for Albania’s EU accession process.
Kurz also stressed that the EU will be complete when all WB countries have joined the Union. Below is what Kurz wrote:
“I just had a good videoconference with Albania’s Prime Minister and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office ediramaal on the joint fight against terrorism & extremism, the COVID19 pandemic and our support for Albania’s EU accession process.”
In a follow up tweet he said: “The EU will only be complete when all countries of the Western Balkans have joined it.”
