Among the main priorities of the leader of the Democratic Party (DP), Lulzim Basha, if he becomes prime minister, will be the program for subsidizing farmers with 100 million euros per year, increasing pensions and changing the bankrupt reality within 6 months for students in Albania.
Basha made this pledge during the meeting held with the students of the Faculty of Economics in Tirana on Sunday.
“I assure you that as the next prime minister, the priority will be the teaching practices for students, they will have a 100% subsidy of fees for 90% of students coming from families with incomes below 64.000 ALL per month,” he said.
Further on Basha said other priorities will be the program for subsidizing farmers with 100 million euros per year, a 9% tax rate in Albania so that it becomes competitive with the region and attract foreign investment. Without referring to any figure he said his other priority will be the increase of pensions and not the 10 oligarchs linked with the government. “This is a declared goal which we will implement fully with the greatest determination within the shortest time of possible.”
There are all mechanisms to change this bankrupt reality within the first 6 months of the next DP government, Basha guaranteed the students. /argumentum.al
