Prime Minister Edi Rama has said the decision of Greece to expand the maritime border to 12 miles does not affect Albania.
Rama made that statement in the southern coastal town of Saranda on Sunday.
“12 miles is a right of every state. Greece has exercised its right. The idea that the sea can be sold as yogurt is absurd and the biggest regret is that there are so many ‘walking’ fish that take it for granted. And those who speak to the public by blowing this fire are clowns,” the PM said.
“Today I am very proud that we have managed to establish the path of communication with Greece. The relations are positive and what is done by it does not hit Albania,” said Albania’s PM./argumentum.al
