Honorable Madame President,
The Council of Albanian Ambassadors and I personally followed with special attention the Plenary Session of the Assembly of Kosovo, which elected You as President of the Republic. Accordingly, the conclusion of the process of building the state institutions emerging from the people’s free will in the latest elections is good news also for us. Thus, enrooting the democratic culture made a significant step forward. Please, accept our most heartfelt wishes and and congratulations for every success!
We, the members of the Council of Albanian Ambassadors have full confidence on your abilities, commitment, integrity and vision to play the historic role entrusted and endowed on You by Kosovo citizens and the Constitution of the Republic.
Indeed, you have become the incarnation of the hopes of the whole Kosovo society and youth, in particular, in view of constructing lives in their fatherland; as a country not only free and independent, but prosperous as well, where democracy is advancing resolutely and human rights are incessantly protected and promoted.
This inspiring hope does also apply to the sacred aspiration of Kosovo people to move rapidly ahead in the path of Euro-Atlantic integration by strengthening with each passing day their friendship with the USA and the EU.
The Council of Albanian Ambassadors takes this opportunity to assure You, dear Madame President and through You the Kosovo Assembly and the Government that it is ready to extend its support to the substantial reforms due to be launched. True, our capacities are modest; yet, our desire to be useful with our experience is immense.
Finally, please, Madame President, accept the assurances of my highest consideration!
