Albania to Get a Donation of 10,000 Doses of AntiCovid Vaccines from Croatia

Croatia will donate 10,000 doses of vaccine against Covid-19 to Albania. The decision was approved at the government meeting, for sending humanitarian aid to the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Northern Macedonia, donating vaccines against COVID-19.
A total of 20,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines will be given to Albania and North Macedonia, the Croatian foreign ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
The ministry did not disclose the date of distribution, nor the manufacturers of the vaccines that will be donated, but the have already been purchased and received.
“The Republic of Albania and the Republic of Northern Macedonia are facing the severe consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, the great pressure on the health system and the lack of vaccines. The European Commission itself has identified countries in our immediate area as a priority for vaccine assistance.
In this regard, Croatia continues to show solidarity with its neighboring countries, the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Northern Macedonia, by providing humanitarian aid in the form of vaccines against COVID-19,” said Minister Grlić Radman.
Last week, the foreign ministry said Croatia will donate 30,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines to Bosnia and Herzegovina, 10,000 to Montenegro and 10,000 to Kosovo. /argumentum.al
