The ‘Defender Europe 2021’ exercise, which started on May 4 in Albania, is demonstrating the interaction capabilities of the United States with NATO partner armies for security in the Western Balkans and the Black Sea regions.
The Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi published a video with a view from the training in 7 different bases on Sunday.
“’Defender Europe 21’ takes place simultaneously in 7 different bases throughout the country,” said Peleshi.
The exercise is being conducted at the military bases of Biza, Kucova, Pashaliman, Farka, Rinas, Durrës and Zall-Herr.
The ‘Defender Europe 21’ exercise takes place in the framework of cooperation with the American side and is a continuation of the strong strategic partnership that Albania has with the United States in the field of security and defense.
The US Army Command in Europe (USAEUR) leads the ‘Defender Europe 21’ exercise package, which includes the participation of allied and partner countries, such as Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Turkey, etc.
