A positive news was shared by the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu on her social networks about the pandemic in the country on Thursday. The number of patients receiving inpatient treatment is at very low levels. Only 9 patients with Covid19 are receiving treatment at the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Tirana as the number of active cases continues to decline across the country. All data show that Albania is nearing the end of the pandemic, after a fierce one-year fight, said the Minister.
On Thursday 2,621 tests were conducted and 5 citizens tested positive. Confirmed positive cases have been identified in the following municipalities: 1 case in Tirana, Shkodra, Lezha, Mirdita, and Tepelena.
There are currently 132 active cases of Covid19 in Albania. 9 patients are receiving specialized hospital treatment, of which 4 patients are in intensive therapy. In the last 24 hours there is no loss of life with Sars-Cov2 positive.
The Albanian government has purchased another quantity of vaccines from the Pfizer company, in complete secrecy of terms and prices.
Through a decision that was taken on June 16 by the government and signed on behalf of Edi Rama as usual by Erion Brace, only new acquisitions are announced by the company in question, but without giving any other details.
