President Ilir Meta met with the Archbishop of Bar, Monsignor Rrok Gjonlleshaj, during his visit to Montenegro on Saturday.
Through a post on social networks, Meta shared on Sunday a photo where he is seen next to Gjonlleshaj and wrote that he welcomed the gift made by him, ‘Monograph of the Archbishopric of Bar’, one of the oldest Christian publications in the region.
Below is the full note of President Meta: “A long-awaited return to Bar, where as always it is a pleasure to meet and talk warmly with the Archbishop, Monsignor Rrok Gjonlleshaj. I appreciate his gift, the ‘Monograph of the Archbishopric of Bar’, a voluminous publication dedicated to one of the oldest church organizations in our region, which I look forward to reading.”
In the meantime, it is reported that during his visit to the regions populated by Albanians in Montenegro Meta had meetings with the highest local officials. / argumentum.al
