Have a good job the new Government of Albania! It is this wish that should be conveyed by all Albanians everywhere regardless of their political beliefs, as from Saturday this is the legitimate government that will lead Albania and Albanians for the next four years.
Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government cabinet were sworn in before the President of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Ilir Meta on Saturday, thus passing the last institutional link before the start of the work of this government.
The new government of Albania, headed by Prime Minister Edi Rama, has already officially started work for the third time. Any old political rhetoric like that before and after April 25, today must end to pave the way for another real opposition battle. That of the lawyer in defense of the civic interest in face of every law and decision taken for Albania and Albanians by the government “Rama 3”.
This is the main focus where the opposition should focus today after a long absence in parliament. Also, each of us, whether as media, non-governmental institutions, journalists, analysts, intellectuals, or simply as citizens of Albania must be vigilant and give voice to the concerns, problems that Albania has. Of course holding this government accountable and transparent for any decision-making. Also, without falling into the trap of being against to everything (for inertia), let us also give voice to every achievement that is made in this country.
From today all attention should go to the governing program, to follow its implementation for the years 2021-2025. Not forgetting that after all this government like any other government elected by the people is in fact the administrator of this country and as such must be accountable to the Sovereign.
