Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama was received in Madrid on Mondayay by the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, with whom he signed two cooperation agreements.
Prime Minister Rama and his Spanish counterpart Sánchez signed a memorandum of understanding between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the Kingdom of Spain on cooperation in higher education.
The two prime ministers also signed the additional agreement of the European Convention on Extradition of 1957. This is the first high-level official visit to Spain in the history of bilateral relations.
Prime Minister Rama assessed that this visit opens a new page in these relations with high potential for political, economic and cultural cooperation between Albania and Spain. /argumentum.al
