Adriatik Llalla, the former chief prosecutor of Albania, has not been found after the searches conducted by the police. This is the response of Tirana Police to the special prosecution for serious crimes known as SPAK asking it officially to start the procedures to declare the convicted top prosecutor internationally wanted. Sources from the police suggest that Adriatik Llalla turned out to have left the country a few days before the announcement of the court decision for his imprisonment.
The court sentenced him to 2 years in prison and a ruling to confiscate his property, but since the announcement of this decision, there has been no trace of the former chief prosecutor who was declared nationally wanted.
According to rules of procedure in such cases, SPAK should start the procedures to declare Llalla internationally wanted immediately after the police file the request. / Argumentum.al
