While the next meeting of ‘Open Balkan’ is expected to be held in Belgrade on Thursday, it is learned that Montenegro is taking steps towards inclusion in this initiative. The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabiç, was asked on Wednesday if she had discussed with her Montenegrin counterpart regarding the “Open Balkan” initiative.
“Krivokapic listened to me with an open heart and accepted the invitation for dinner, which will be attended by Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia, Nikola Dimitrov, who will come to Belgrade today. What will happen next is a sovereign decision of Montenegro,” Brnabic said. Earlier Deputy PM Dritan Abazovic and leaders in his URA party have been suspicious over the initiative, but it is known that Podgorica’s PM Krivokapic belongs to a pro-Serbia party. / Argumentum.al
