The Mufti of Shkodra, Imam Muhamed Sytari during the sermon on Friday has strongly opposed the request of the LGBT community to replace the word mother and father in the family code with the words Parent 1 and Parent 2.
According to the Mufti of Shkodra, this is unacceptable because it destroys the basis of the Albanian family and leads society towards human decadence.
Mufti Sytari called on the Albanian Parliament not to change the Family Code and he is confident that such a thing will not happen.
