Albania is a country caught by corruption and the vetting of politicians punishes corrupt figures and returns power to the citizens.
The Democratic Party chairman, Lulzim Basha wrote on “Twitter” on Saturday that the well-being of citizens has only declined, while he says that Vetting in politics separates Albania from the clutches of corruption.
He also stressed that the impunity of corrupt politicians should end, suggesting that in order for power to be returned to citizens, politics should be cleansed of abusers who, according to him, have become rich at the expense of the citizens.
“In the eyes of Albanians and the world, Albania is a country caught up in corruption, where the strength of power increases, while the well-being of citizens only falls. For power to return to the citizens, the impunity of corrupt politicians must end, politics must be cleansed of abusers who have become rich at the expense of the citizens. Vetting in politics is needed immediately,” Basha said in his post on Twitter . / Argumentum.al
