The Albanian Parliament should issue a resolution condemning the Russian threats and preparations for war against Ukraine, declared the deputy of the Democratic Party (DP), Tritan Shehu, according to whom there is an attempt by Russia to “introduce” occupations, war and its atmosphere in the “heart” of Europe. “This is very dangerous for everyone, even for our region where the problems are open, the interferences and interests are active and destabilizing both from Russia and other Eastern origins,” noted Shehu, a former FM on Monday.
According to him, this is especially dangerous in a situation when Serbia, part of Moscow’s Eurasian Union and heavily armed by Russia, denies any possibility of recognizing Kosovo, seeks to destabilize Bosnia and create religious problems in Montenegroi.
It is now time to remove the “nebulosity” and confirm strongly our only unwavering position and perspective, that of Europe and the West, even through a Parliamentary Resolution. / Argumentum.al
