The President, Ilir Meta received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Albania, resident in Athens, Sulaiman Hamed Salem Almazroui, on the occasion of presenting his Credention Letters on?Friday.
The news was released by Meta through social networks and he congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and assured him of his support in the successful fulfillment of the diplomatic mission in Albania.
The Head of State praised the long diplomatic experience of the Ambassador and expressed confidence that his engagement will contribute to the further expansion and strengthening of very good relations between Albania and UAE, especially in the economic and trade field and the increase of investments of United Arab Emirates in Albania.
President Meta expressed confidence for the continuation of close cooperation between the two countries in particular in?the framework of the United Nations where Albania and the United Arab Emirates will be together as non-permanent members of the Security Council in the years 2022-2023. / Argumentum.al
