Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted on Friday regarding the protests held throughout Albania against the increase of prices, saying in a post on social networks that they are a low attempt of the shadows of the past.”For those who know the hand of the proclaimed and unannounced nongrata persons, these protests are a low attempt of the same shadows of the past to manipulate people by throwing the stone and hiding the hand! These are not the people, but the same noisy minority in search of turmoil!” said Rama.
The ongoing protests are organized by people themselves and social activists through social media and no political officials are involved in them. It resembles the huge protest against the storage of chemical waste by the US in Albania which forced Rama to abandon the scheme./Argumentum.al
