“I am single, but I am in a relationship and I have three children, so I ask the court to ease the security measure and from house arrest announced in absentia to impose house arrest,” is quoted to have said former socialist MP Alqi Bllako in the court session which ruled imprisonment for him. In an effort to appear calm, the former deputy further stated that he had completed higher education and that he had never had any problems with the law, said the portal Si quoting minutes of the judicial session on Sunday.
Telling the year of birth, paternity and place of birth, the former socialist secretary general who ended up in detention, as well as the former superior Lefter Koka, left the floor to his lawyer during the closed-door hearing. But before being represented by the defense, Bllako reminded that he is safe and that he does not intend to leave Albania as there is no risk of escape for him. However, neither the lawyer, nor the prosecution, nor the suspect for abuse and corruption touched on the topic of where Bllako was during the eight hours that the police were looking for him.
The SPAK prosecutor, in addition to the circumstances of the crime, according to reliable sources of the newspaper “Si”, also submitted the minutes of the execution of the security measure in which it is not mentioned at all whether Bllako surrendered or was arrested.
In this letter, the prosecutors briefly write the time and date, revealing the date April 1 as the moment when the security measure of arrest and imprisonment imposed in absentia by the special judge Gjoka was executed.
According to the sources who were present at the hearing, Bllako is innocent for the lawyer. “My client did not take any action, he did not put any signature, so we demand his release,” said the defense lawyer, among other things.
This request was not accepted by the anti-corruption judge, who after hearing all, stated that during the verification of the conditions Alqi Bllako will remain in custody, as well as Lefter Koka for whom the court has imposed two security measures, one for the incinerator of Elbasan and the other for the incinerator of Fier.
It is also wanted former businessman Klodian Zoto, whose address is difficult for the police to find out. /Argumentum.al
