The Parliament of Albania is part of the informative “blackout” that Russia seeks to create regarding the aggression against Ukraine. All the democratic world is against it besides the Albanian Parliament, said Democratic Party deputy Tritan Shehu in a post on FB on Sunday.
“No word is allowed in the plenary session on what is happening in Ukraine, the monstrous crimes that are being committed there. Everything is required to be considered closed with the approval of that so called resolution submitted by that majority, nothing more !!” said Shehu, a former FM.
“It is especially not allowed to be discussed the problems and dangers posed by Serbia’s role in this context, as the only country in Europe (apart from Belarus) that has become an ‘umbilical cordon’ for Russia,” he said.
“Therefore, it was not voted in the Conference of Presidents to put on the agenda the Motion with our resolution on this issue, being supported only by Mr. (Fatmir) Mediu!” said Shehu. /Argumentum.al
