TIRANA, May 14 – Ready to celebrate! We celebrate the 100th anniversary of the relationship between the United States and Albania this year and this event deserves a celebration. I announce with great pleasure the America Week to be held next week!
This was the announcement released on Saturday by the US Ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim on the occasion of celebrating the 100th anniversary of relations between the United States and Albania. According to her, next week there will be numerous festive activities in Albania during the Week of America.
Kim invited all Albanians to join in for a week-long celebration that will feature American music, food, and entertainment, and all activities are free of charge and open to all.
As a special element, the rock band of the United States Air Force “Touch‘ n Go “will come especially to Albania! This fantastic group will give a concert on Thursday night in “Skënderbej” square and on Saturday in Rozafa Castle in Shkodra, announced Ambassador Kim.
In addition she said that some of the most favorite American films will be shown at Reja in Tirana and the delicious variety of American food will be celebrated at the New Bazaar in Tirana.
