TIRANA, May 31 – Democratic Party (DP) MP Tritan Shehu has reacted after the majority in the Conference of Chairmen did not pass the request for voting on the Resolution on the Serbian genocide in Kosovo. In his Facebook post on Tuesday, Shehu stressed that the majority does not have the courage to escape from the pressure of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to block it.
Shehu called on the deputies of the majority that this resolution is a touchstone for everyone regarding his sovereignty and positioning.
“Do not fall prey to the pressures and demands of Vucic to block it, as well as any other Resolution in all Parliaments of the Region, related to the convictions of the crimes of the Milosevic period, which he himself confirmed,” said Shehu, a former FM.
Further he said the approval or not of this Resolution is a special test of “honor or shame” for the Assembly of Albania as a whole, not only before the Albanian people but also before Kosovo and the region.
