TIRANA, September 6 – The first protest of the Freedom Party (FP) will be organized after a week at 18:00 at the Tirana incinerator.
This was announced on Tuesday by FP chairman Ilir Meta who invited all those who want to protest. He also invited the best experts engaged in the field of justice, environment and management of these very important issues, Meta emphasized.
In a statement to the media, Meta told the media that the protest will be held next Tuesday at the Tirana incinerator while denouncing the burning of waste in Shijak.
Meta condemned the chemical attack by Rama and the ‘renaissance’ gang in Shijak against the residents of not only Shijak but also Ndroq, Xhafzotaj, Romanat, the beach area, Golem.
“What happened is very serious because tons of garbage were deliberately burned yesterday (Monday) evening, which were deposited between the area of Hardhisht and Romanat. This was done deliberately so that during the night there would be no reactions, there was no opportunity for the media or politicians to react,” said Meta.
Meanwhile, all the residents of Shijak know about the pressure that is put on them not to talk about the waste disposal near their houses, said Meta who revealed that he had received photos and messages from the residents about the waste problem.
“Today I didn’t believe the images that were being sent to me, only when it was known that I was going, two fire engines were sent to put out the fire,” said Meta.
