TIRANA, September 13 – The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha will convene the parliamentary group on Wednesday, which is the first meeting called by him for this new parliamentary session.
“Greetings! Tomorrow, September 14, at 12.00, the DP will hold a meeting of the parliamentary group in the hall of deputies at the DP headquarters having the following agenda: Presentation of the proposal and report on the territorial reform by the working group; concrete proposals from the deputies on their constituencies; other topics. Thank you!”
This was Berisha’s message released by the deputy, Luciano Boci, which was sent to the democrat deputies who did not support Berisha.
It is underlined that the participation and contribution of the deputies in this meeting is very important.
In the meantime, Enkelejd Alibeaj held a separate meeting of the parliamentary group who are supporters of the former DP head Lulzim Basha in one of the capital’s hotels the day before the start of the Assembly.
20 MPs took part in the meeting physically and 8 others online, where they reconfirmed Alibeaj as group leader.
It is not known what the Socialist Party majority will decide on Berisha’s group because they recognize Alebeaj’s group under the DP’s logo. /Argumentum.al
